Installing A Digital Wallet

In order to recieve an NFT, you must first own a digital wallet. The most popular of these is Metamask.

This wallet can be installed as an extension on your internet browser and used to recieve, hold and send

NFT’s as well as a wide variety of crypto currencies. To install this extension on your internet browser...

Step 1 - Installing Metamask

​

1. Open your internet browser ( Chrome / Firefox / Brave )

​

2. Go to the menu in the top right < More Tools…< Extensions. From here, search for, and add the

Metamask extension.  *** some browser updates do not show Metamask in the extensions search. If this

is the case you can download Metamask from the App Store or the Google Play Store.

3. Follow the install instructions supplied by Metamask. Remember, the ’recovery phrase’ they give

you is VERY important, write it down as this is your only way of re-installing or retrieving your

wallets contents if something was to happen to your computer.

4. Once your Metamask account is set up, open the extension and sign in.

​

5. IF you are unable to find the Metamask extension in your browser, you may have to download

it from the App Store or Google Play Store.

​

Step 2 - Sending Us Your Metamask Address

1. Copy the alpha numerical address (public key) located underneath the account name ( starts with 0x )

2. Send that address to: info@illworksstudios.com

*** PLEASE REMEMBER that Metamask requires that you store your ‘recovery phrase’ in a safe place. It

is the only way to recover your funds should your device crash or your browser reset. NOTE: We

recommend you write it down. The most common method is to write your 12-word phrase on a peice of

paper and store it safely in a place only you have access. NEVER give your recovery phrase or private

key to anyone unless you want them to have full access to your funds.

Step 3 - Recieving Your NFT

1. Once we confirm that the address you sent is correct, the NFT will show up under the NFT tab in

your Metamask wallet.
