Our mood board below showcases the ideas and concepts that helped shape the direction of our core design strategy for this upcoming project. It’s a visual representation of our research and inspiration, and it captures the essence of an evolved old Hollywood era look which was our main focus. The mood board features a curated selection of color pallets, patterns, textures and images that embody the spirit of this era and convey a modern and fresh feel.
Our logo ideas are an integral part of our core design strategy for your project. We feel these inspirations capture the essence of the evolved old Hollywood look and provide a visual representation of our design ideas for this project. The logos feature bold, dynamic patterns and unique typography that reflect the roots of 50’s & 60’s entertainment culture with a contemporary feel.
Title sequence looks
Our examples are a combination of works that have both inspired us and ones we’ve come across that align with the direction of this project. A mix of textured organic documents, headlines and vintage images mixed with clean, classy elements with some macro views of certain key elements and depth of field for more drama. We would encourage you to imagine various archived footage and pictures in place of the below image treatments, this will help bring our concepts to life and give you a better understanding of our vision.
Animated Story Segments
For the main event, the main story telling device we will the animated segment to portray the story that was never seen. the examples below are samples of the style of drawing we were thinking of but can also be altered. The colours inthis example is possibly to vibrant for the film but we will speak about that once we cross that bridge. The movement in the animation will match the vibe and feel of the story. accompanied by music and a great sound scape these animations will bring another level to the sttory unlike like most other classy music documentaries.
Documents, Maps & timelines
For these examples, our collection of folders are comprised of excerpts from previous works and ideas that we’ve come across that are in line with the proposed vision. We aim to feature a clean but textured visual style incorporation elements of the old Hollywood era. With these treatments we want to provide a macro view of various documents while playing with depth of field and vignettes. In the example folder marked, “HEADLINES”, you’ll see a collection of recreated headlines from past projects to give you an idea of how our re-creations may look for this project.
