animation & motion graphics plan:

CORE DESIGN STRATEGY

Thanks again for your consideration in this upcoming project.  It’s an interesting topic to take on and we are grateful for the chance to help bring your vision to life. We are excited to introduce our core design strategy, which is based on an evolved, fun and stylized design approach.  Our team has meticulously combed through various trends to create a collection of looks for you to consider.

The new designs will feature various looks showcasing our vision for this unique endeavour.  Our vision was to keep the viewers engaged and interested while creating this design approach.  Our team has carefully assembled each design to capture the spirit of realism while avoiding any outdated and unappealing elements.  We believe that this approach will lead us down the path to capturing the unique look that will distinguish your project among the myriad of historical documentaries in the marketplace.

Our mood board below showcases the ideas and concepts that helped shape the direction of our core design strategy for this upcoming project.  It’s a visual representation of our research and inspiration, and it captures the essence of a realistic style which was our main focus.  The mood board features a curated selection of color pallets, patterns, textures and images that embody the spirit of this vision and convey a modern and fresh feel.

explainers

For this section, we are excited to present our 2D and 3D explainer examples.  These all come from previous projects we’ve come across and ones we’ve personally worked on that demonstrate the broad stroke of our capabilities.  We aim to have our treatments short and concise, breaking down fun, historical concepts in a way that parallels the concepts of the show.

LOGO & TITLE CARD INSPIRATION

Our logo ideas are an integral part of our core design strategy for your project.  We feel these inspirations capture the essence of realism and provide a visual representation of our ideas for this project.  The logos feature bold, dynamic patterns and unique typography that reflect the appealing, yet light and entertaining roots of comedy with a contemporary feel.

Documents, Maps, Locators & Timelines:

In the following examples, these are various treatments we’ve done with locators that guide the viewer in establishing context and pushing the story forward.  We aim to have our treatments sleek and minimal, with historically inspired design elements using flowing lines, soft gradients, colour palettes and animation style to mimic certain thematic elements of the show.

Maps always prove to be an important element for any show.  For these examples, our collection is comprised of previous works and new ideas that parallel our vision.  We aim to feature a clean but textured, highly dynamic visual style incorporating thematic and fun elements synonymous with the historical elements of the show.
